Introducing the 1sT Annual
‘Zuppa de Helena’
Award Trophy
Downtown Helena’s local Chefs and Restaurants will gain recognition for their creatively delicious soups this cozy winter season in a public vote!
An artist’s early ‘napkin’ rendering of the
’Zuppa de Helena’ Trophy.
It will be nearly 2 feet tall, crafted of ceramic, wood, and many brass plaques with the winner’s info and will be relocated each year.
Customers can order soup from up to 20 different locations downtown in January and February then use the QR code provided at each location or at HelenaArtWalk.com to rate their favorite soups!
Samples of select soups will be available at select locations during the Helena Art Walk on Friday, February 14th, from 4-8pm.
Taste testers will rank each soup they try by flavor, texture and appearance, as well as vote for soups in categories such as ‘most comforting’ and ‘most adventurous’. Votes will be collected at the end of the last day of February (Fri., February 28 at midnight), percentages tallied, and the winner announced a couple of days later.

How to Participate
As a Culinary Artist / Restaurant
Step 1: Mark your calendar
Step 2: Register by Jan 25
with your soup’s name & quick description, and be sure to have a pic of:
your menu look for our custom insert design (no details needed)
a photo of your chef or your logo, front door, signage, busy restaurant…
Step 3:
Make your soup!!
Voting will be open the whole month of February
Then…
Expect an email from us very soon to confirm the details of signage/menu insert — we’ll deliver them.
And we’ll smooth out the details if you decided you’d like to share samples at one or more other hosted locations downtown during Art Walk on Feb 14.

Word of mouth is best, but we will also have a great presence online, the radio, newspapers, and maybe even on television too. We could use help with re-posting, and behind-the scenes work leading up to this point.
Until Helena can depend on this event regularly, this is the costliest part of the event. Artists know how to stretch a dollar, so please know your donation$ for this effort go a long way!

All the signage, maps, and extra program efforts like our Fairy Doors will need to be delivered on these three days.
We also need someone to help us take photos, and another to collect email addresses of visitors.

Each season, our website hosts interactive google maps that list artist and business names where you last saw them.
